Administering e-Link : Working with New User Groups : Working with Users

Working with Users
Your district can implement e-Link any way it sees fit. You can include or exclude as many groups as you like. Some examples of groups you can include are:
With this wide range of potential users, you can see how important it is that users have the restricted permissions we describe in the section, Working with New User Groups on page 18. Our goal is to provide you with the tools you need to include or exclude users according to your district’s policy.
It is important to keep in mind that the information that teachers need is different than, say real estate personnel and therefore their permissions to this information is different. Refer to the permissions you have granted User Groups you have already created before you add a user to a group!
